The heartbeat of our home is connection, creativity, and active living. We love building a strong community by hosting gatherings for loved ones, from themed mystery dinners and festive holiday gatherings to casual game nights and summer lake days. Celebrating traditions like Friendsgiving, Halloween, and local festivals keeps our lives filled with laughter and shared memories.

We balance this social energy with hands-on passions and wellness. Helen expresses her creativity through a love for baking, filling our kitchen with warmth and sweet treats for family gatherings. Ryan enjoys the patient process of restoring vintage cars and motorcycles, transforming classic machinery into functional art. We are deeply appreciative of visual and audio arts and have also designed and built a home theater, game room and fitness center, providing spaces to stay healthy, relax, and enjoy movie nights together.

Whether cheering at local football, baseball, and soccer games or engaging in collaborative projects, our diverse hobbies keep us grounded and connected. We look forward to sharing these rich experiences, active lifestyle, and welcoming traditions with a child.

Our three-story brick colonial sits on four acres, balancing a lush two-acre yard with two acres of peaceful woods. Daily deer sightings and an active stream offer a beautiful connection to nature right outside our door.

We live in a tight-knit, multi-generational neighborhood where children safely ride bikes and play outside. Our community is small-town and family-focused, yet conveniently located just twenty minutes from a major city. Highly ranked school systems excel in both academics and sports. Additionally, a wealth of nearby museums, cultural festivals, town playgrounds, and scenic hiking trails are less than a half-mile away, offering endless opportunities for a child to learn, play, and grow.

We are incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by a deep, enduring network of love and support. Both of our extended families are exceptionally tight-knit, communicating several times a week to stay connected. We prioritize spending quality time together, gathering at least monthly or more for get-togethers and planning at least one major family vacation every year. Our relatives are eager and ready to welcome a new child with open arms and unconditional love.

In addition to our family, we share our lives with a diverse group of close friends spanning several states. Having known each other for over ten years, this group has truly become our chosen family. We interact constantly, actively including one another in major family milestones, casual game nights, children’s activities, and shared vacations. Raising a child within this community means they will grow up enveloped by a secure, reliable village of aunts, uncles, and lifelong friends who are fully invested in their happiness and future.

Most importantly we have a 6 year old bulldog named Cowboy that loves his nieces and nephews and can not wait to be a big brother. He is our best good boy and has been training for this day since he came into our life.

We thrive on travel and cultural immersion, planning two domestic vacations and one international trip each year. Our adventures have taken us worldwide, from exploring the architecture of Sao Paulo and Culture of Rio during Carnival to walking the path of our ancestors in Scotland. We have experienced diverse cultures across the Americas, Caribbean and Europe as well as stayed closer to home for family trips to Disney.

Many of our journeys began by visiting the hometowns of our lifelong friends. Whether relaxing at Lake Powell, experiencing San Antonio's NIOSA, or exploring historic cities like Chicago and Philadelphia, we love discovering new perspectives. We cannot wait to expand our child's horizons and show them the beauty of the world firsthand.
